Transpecos
On a remote desert highway, a makeshift Border Patrol checkpoint is manned by three agents: Flores, with an uncanny ability to track; Davis, who joined the Border Patrol with dreams of romancing señoritas and riding on horseback; and Hobbs, one of the old guards who believes a college degree can’t stop a bullet. It's like most boring days, but soon the contents of one car will change everything. What follows is a journey to uncover the surreal, frightening secrets hidden behind the facade of this lonely outpost. The end of the path may cost them their lives along a border where the line between right and wrong shifts like the desert itself.

What Would Beethoven Do?
Classical music doesn't exactly have a reputation for being hip. For too long it's been seen as a stuffy genre for the high cultured elite. What Would Beethoven Do? follows a number of renegades, from composers flirting with modern mediums, to young musicians dedicated to changing the narrative, to a man who is bringing turntablists and orchestras together. Notable artists, such as Bobby McFerrin, Benjamin Zander, and Eric Whitacre, add their voices to the debate about why classical music is still relevant today.

The Seer: A Portrait of Wendell Berry
Like many rural landscapes across America, Henry County, Kentucky, has become a place of quiet, ideological struggle. In the span of a generation, virtues of simplicity, land stewardship, local economies, and rootedness to place have been supplanted by a capital-intensive model of industrial agriculture characterized by machine labor, chemical fertilizers, soil erosion and debt - all of which have frayed the fabric of communities. Writing from a long wooden desk beneath a forty-paned window, Wendell Berry has watched this struggle unfold, becoming one the most passionate and eloquent voices in defense of agrarian life.

The American Epic Sessions
Jack White and T Bone Burnett invite today’s greatest artists to test their skills against the long-lost machine that recorded their musical idols and forebears. The producers rebuilt a 1920s recording system, timed by a weight-driven system of clockwork gears. Stripped of the comforts and security of modern technology, Nas, Elton John, Alabama Shakes, Steve Martin, Taj Mahal, Ana Gabriel, Ashley Monroe, Willie Nelson, and Merle Haggard are among the artists who have three minutes and one chance to get their music etched into the surface of a revolving wax disc before the weight hits the floor. Going back to basics and capturing the energy of a unique live performance in the grooves of a rotating wax disc, these recordings are heard exactly as they were made—“lightning in a bottle”.

During the early 90s the G Funk style of hip hop emerged from Los Angeles, combining melodic elements of Motown, Funk, and R&B with socially-aware gangsta rap. For the first time in history, a hip hop album debuted at #1 on the pop charts and the genre became a staple of mainstream American culture. The movement began with Warren G, Snoop Dogg, and Nate Dogg. As childhood friends, the trio formed the group 213 and were discovered by Deathrow Records and Dr. Dre. Deathrow went on to only support Snoop and Nate. While Snoop and Nate rose to international stardom, Warren moved back to Long Beach with hopes of making it on his own. G Funk
The film follows his rise and the impact of G Funk on pop culture.
